No DEB video reaches a customer without you saying so. That's deliberate: you see every video before your customer does.

How it works

1. You get a text about 30–45 minutes after your tech sends the proposal:

`[#3] Doug Lockhart's estimate video is ready: <link>`

2. Watch it. Tap the link — it's the same page your customer will see.

3. Reply.

To send itReply "send 3" — using the number from the text. ("approve", "go ahead", and "yes" work too.)
To hold itReply with what's wrong — for example "take the membership part out".

What you get back

  • Approved: a `✅ [#3] Sent` receipt. Your customer now has the video.
  • Held: a `✋ Holding` confirmation. Nothing goes out, and your note is saved for the Escape team. Once it's sorted, reply "send 3" and it releases.

The receipt is your proof of delivery. If you didn't get a `✅ Sent` text, it did not go out.

A few things worth knowing

  • Take your time. A held video waits as long as it needs to — nothing expires or sends itself.
  • Watch it on your phone, the way the customer will. You'll catch a wrong price or an option that shouldn't be there faster than reading a document.
  • Numbers come from the proposal, so if a price is wrong, the proposal was wrong. Have your tech correct and resend it, and a fresh video builds.
  • Something looks off in the video itself — a claim you'd never make, a section you don't want? Reply with that feedback and then tell us. Video content is tuned for your shop, and we'll adjust it for every future estimate.

Why the approval step exists

Early on, it's the safety net that catches anything unexpected before a customer sees it. Once you've watched enough of them and they're consistently right, we can switch DEB to send automatically — that's your call, whenever you're ready.
